Dashboard – A Quick Overview of Your Security Status

The Dashboard tab gives you a clear and easy overview of your security status, along with useful metrics. Everything is grouped into visual widgets that help you quickly understand what’s going well, what could be improved, and where action may be needed.

Here’s how to access your Dashboard:

  1. Make sure you’re logged into your Blackwall account.

  2. In the Blackwall interface, click Dashboard from the main menu.

  3. By default, you’ll land on the Today tab. Want to view a different time frame? Click on This month, This week, or Yesterday.

  4. At the top of the page, you’ll see a number of widgets showing your key security stats.
The image below shows what each widget does.

Widget breakdown:

Annotation Description
a This set of widgets gives you top-level metrics, like Security Threats, Requests Blocked, Requests Processed, and Suspicious Visits. You’ll also see a percentage indicating the change from the previous period.
b The Subscription Quota widget shows how many domains you’ve registered, how many requests have been processed this subscription cycle, and when the next cycle starts. You can click UPGRADE YOUR PLAN to switch to a different plan.
c The Notifications widget shows any important updates or alerts. In this example, there are none.

Further down the page, you’ll find more widgets giving insight into threat types impacting your site.

Annotation Description

e A set of three widgets: the first shows a breakdown of Good Bots vs. Bad Bots vs. Humans. The next two compare your site’s data to global averages and show bot classifications.
f The top 10 bot sources hitting your site, including IP, provider, and country.
g The top 10 targeted URLs on your site for bot activity.

At the bottom of the dashboard, one last widget highlights the most frequent security issues over the selected time period.
